I know, I know... so sorry for the lack of blogging. Forgive me, blog readers! I was so excited to be caught up at the holidays that I took some time off for some much needed family time, R&R, and snow play. There was sledding, sleeping, movie watching, Wii playing, and peppermint-mocha drinking (with whip please!).
Before we take 2009 by the reins and dive into all this new year has to offer, I would love to reflect back on 2008. For me, 2008 was a major year where I expanded my knowledge of photography, and completely redefined my shooting and editing style. With so much accomplished, I just hate to say goodbye to 2008 without the proper respect and adoration it deserves. Over the next several days, I will be posting some of my favorite wedding and portrait photos from last year, with each post featuring different editing techniques.
Today? Let's look back on a few of my favorite portrait sessions finished with a classic edit.

Even though the winter wonderland outside today isn't affecting my work schedule, I am still have a hard time concentrating. I keep glancing out the window at the pretty, pretty snow. It is so quiet outside too... like the world has stopped just to watch the white out. Since I'm having fun, I thought I would post some fun photos for you.
Any guesses as to what Jake & I were up to here?? (no cheating if you already know!)

Christina AKA FandangoChica:
You guys are frickin' adorable!!!! Soooo much fun! Happy Holidays!
(01.12.09 @ 05:09 PM)Day 9:
- Thursday's workout: Elliptical - 25 minutes
- Thursday's iPod playlist: First time working out with out music! Watched the movie in the theater - Journey to the Center of the Earth. Time went by pretty fast, though found it hard to keep my heart rate where I wanted it with the slow background music. And at one part of the movie I flinched so great that I almost fell off the machine. Oops.
Day 10:
- Friday's workout: Elliptical - 45 minutes
- Friday's iPod playlist: Watched the movie in the theater - Last Holiday. Found it frustrating to only see part of a movie, but, the time did go by very quickly. Pretty fun.
Day 11:
- Saturday's workout: Racquetball with Jake - I won 1 out of 3 games!
Day 12:
- Sunday... Experienced some sort of hip flex injury from racquetball... can barely put my shoe on my right foot. Agh.
Day 13:
- Monday... no workout again... received acupuncture for hip injury... Dr. said rest will heal the ligament best...
