One of my clients just posted a review of her recent photo shoot with me on her blog, and I was so touched that I wanted to share it here. Her blog account is different than the direct emails or phone calls I get when an excited client has just seen his or her photos because they are usually just about the photos, the end result. While I know she loved her final images, I found this writing to be very personal and straight from the heart about her entire experience. And I am so happy that she wanted to share it through her blog.
Her full post will be coming soon :)

"I had a fashion photo shoot in downtown Seattle and loved every second of it. I was a bit nervous at having my pictures taken professionally. Some might think I wouldn't be so nervous, but I was. This was a big deal for me. The photos will be part of my new site that I am launching in just a few days.
I knew what I wanted in planning the shoot, but I had no idea it would turn out to be SO much fun! Joey Bowles of Cosa Bella Foto (http://www.cosabellafoto.com) was my photographer and made this an experience of a lifetime for me. I felt like I was born to do this. I realized she helped me overcome my fears of just letting it all out in front of complete strangers. I became me in this shoot because of my passion for fashion. I was, and have been on, cloud nine every day since the shoot.
There is no greater feeling than loving what you do, and sharing it with everyone around you. Stay tuned to see the magnificent work that was done by Joey."

Wow, that's awesome! Congratulations, Joey!
(06.18.09 @ 01:51 PM)What incredibly nice words! If I could articulate myself like she can (or had a blog to post to) I'd have written similar things. You've said that a lot of people have said nice things about the photos on the blog that show Liz and me but what none of them know is how horribly scared (almost phobic) of having my picture taken I am. You made that day with Liz fun, enjoyable, and an experience I was dreading into one that I wish I could have again. You are more than just a great photographer Joey - you are able to bring the absolute best out of people and connect with them on deeper level!
(06.18.09 @ 02:03 PM)you're so fabulous joey!!!!
(06.18.09 @ 04:29 PM)Oh THANKS you guys!!! Jeff, thanks for saying that - there are so many grooms we meet who are quite nervous having their photo taken. Your words will be comforting to them :)
